Fishing with the Po-Po
Fishing with the Po-Po is a signature Extended Hands initiative that builds trust and meaningful relationships between local law enforcement and the community. Through a relaxed, family setting, we create space for connection, healing and unity across West & Southwest Michigan.
Unity Walk
The Unity Walk is an Extended Hands initiative designed to build trust and meaningful relationships between the community and law enforcement. By creating space for connection, healing, and honest interaction, it helps shift the narrative and fosters unity across the communities we serve.
Community Celebration
Be a part of our Community Celebration event, where volunteer organizations and individuals come together to celebrate and connect with the community. Through this shared experience, we create space for unity, relationship-building, and meaningful engagement together and growth.

IMPACT CLOSE TO HOME
Through collaboration with local community organizations, companies, and agencies, we develop and cultivate impact that resonates close to home.
Our participants hail from multiple counties in the West Michigan region, including Kent, Ottawa, and Newaygo.
Over 2,500 kids from communities across West Michigan have participated in Fishing with the Popo.
Our Community Celebration has impacted over 15,000 families with shoes, backpacks, school supplies, bikes and community resources.
